We were planning on doing a clip show extravaganza for our 50th, but with Dustin leaving the hatch – we lost a lot of emails with specific episodes and time stamps. So, if you can wait a few weeks for that, we have new episodes coming your way. Including this week’s Gravity with our friend and physicist Christina Ochoa. Find out just exactly what gravity is, or what we know about it at least, at earwolf.com

When are you guys going to add photos to your website? Your photo section has been saying “Coming soon!” since it first launched. How much sooner is “Soon”? Don’t you all have some photos of you playing knockout ball or something?
Before I get to the critical part of this comment, I wanted to say that I loved the majority of the show where you were all actually talking about the subject of gravity. As usual, it was enlightening and funny, and I will certainly look forward to downloading your podcast in the future. Now, on to the critical portion.
Holy shit guys, you really still don’t understand what atheism is? Atheists do not claim that there is no god(s), only that they don’t believe in god(s). The agnostic/gnostic distinction deals with knowledge of god(s), not with belief. Thus you can be an agnostic atheist, meaning that you don’t know for sure whether any god(s) exist, but you believe and live your life as though it were not the case. If you’re still confused, a website that does an excellent job in explaining the issue is: http://freethinker.co.uk/2009/09/25/8419/
In fact, when you really think about it, saying you are just “agnostic” doesn’t really make sense. Belief is a binary; you either believe something to be true or you do not believe it to be true. There is nothing in-between, and the default position must always be that a claim is false (ie, god does not exist) until evidence to the contrary is provided. Otherwise, there would be no reason to believe one claim over another.
This means that all of you, with the exception of Aaron, are atheists.
That being said, I was more annoyed about the way you purposefully derailed from the very interesting main topic so that you could badmouth atheists for the last part of the show. There was no reason for it, and it just showed your own prejudice and ignorance about atheism and atheists.
